BROCKTON, MA — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. What: Brockton Fair and Fireworks

Where: Brockton Fairgrounds, located at 600 Belmont Street

When: June 28 through July 7 (fireworks are June 28, 29, July 3, 4, and 6.)

The Brockton Fair is one of Brockton's longest city traditions. Come celebrate the Fourth of July with five fireworks displays, carnival ride, games, demolition derbies, live music and more. A day-by-day schedule of all the fair's events can be found in this schedule.

As far as fireworks and the fair, July 4 is always the most popular for obvious reasons. If you go to the Brockton Fair and stay for the fireworks make sure you stay hydrated and take breaks throughout the day. It's going to be hot and humid with high temperatures of 91 and 49 percent humidity.
