Furniture Maker Donates PPE For Brockton Poll Workers
Amid a pandemic, a furniture manufacturing company is donating masks for poll workers in the upcoming Presidential election.
BROCKTON, MA — AIS Inc., a furniture maker based in Leominster, is donating personal protective equipment to Brockton-area workers ahead of the Nov. 3 election.
AIS told the Brockton Enterprise, which first reported this story, it had received 1,500 requests for protective masks as of Monday. The September 1st state primary tested safety measures approved earlier this year to slow the spread of the coronavirus during voting. With expanded early voting and more mail-in ballots, Massachusetts officials are expecting record voter turnout for the Nov. 3 election.
