Brockton Bickford's Closing Brings Once Popular Chain Down To 3
Anyone who wants Bickford's massive "16 Wheeler" breakfast will have to drive to Acton, Burlington, or Woburn now.

BROCKTON, MA — With 85 locations throughout the New England and New York areas, Bickford's Grille was once one of the most popular breakfast and lunch chains in the Northeast.
Those days are long gone. with Sunday's closing of the Brockton restaurant, Bickford's is down to just three diners. Anyone who wants a "Strawberry Festival Waffle" or Bickford's massive "16 Wheeler" breakfast will have to drive to Acton, Burlington, or Woburn now.
With Bickford's closing, another popular Brockton restaurant is taking its place. Tommy Doyle's Pub & Grill bought the restaurant and is relocating from its location on nearby North Pearl Street.

Tommy Doyle's serves American fare and regional food. Its lobster roll was picked by Boston's Hidden Restaurants as one of the best in Greater Boston.
