Brockton Boys And Girls Basketball Teams Qualify For Postseason

BROCKTON, MA — It’s tournament time for high school sports in Massachusetts and the Brockton girls and boys basketball teams are in the mix for the MIAA Division 1 South championship.

The girls team enter the Division 1 South tournament as the ninth seed and will travel to eight-ranked Attleboro on Feb. 28. If the Boxers win, hey move on to the quarterfinals against the top-ranked Mansfield on March 2.

In the boys bracket, the Boxers enter the tournament as the 17th seed and will face 16th ranked Durfee in a preliminary round game on Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. The winner moves on to the first round against Mansfield on March 1.
