Brockton Firefighters Respond To Blaze At Rockland Home

One resident and two firefighters suffered from minor injuries.

BROCKTON, MA — Brockton firefighters assisted with extinguishing a fire on Pacific Street in Rockland Saturday, reported NBC 10.

The fire broke out at a multi-family home in the early afternoon and quickly spread from the second and third floor porches to the roof of the three-story building. The flames was knocked down by 4:15 p.m.

According to the Massachusetts fire marshal, a resident and two firefighters suffered from minor injuries, but are expected to be okay.

Ten residents, including six adults and four children, were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
