Brockton High Football Team Eyes Winning Thanksgiving Finale
The Boxers will be fighting for their third holiday victory in 10 years against Bridgewater-Raynham Thursday morning at B-R.
BROCKTON, MA – The Brockton High football team will look to make it a winning season Thursday morning when the Boxers travel to Bridgewater-Raynham for the annual Thanksgiving rivalry game. Brockton and B-R both enter the day at 5-5 on the season.
Brockton won its playoff opener, 48-14, against Newton North on Sept. 1 before a postseason and consolation round losses to Franklin and BC High. B-R won its last two games in the consolation playoff round with as the Trojans beat Newton North by a combined score of 71-18.

Brockton will be looking for just its third victory in 10 tries since taking on B-R as a Thanksgiving opponent a decade ago. Before that, the Boxers had a long rivalry with Waltham where they piled up a 45-27-4 record.
