Brockton Man Accused Of Fatally Stabbing Roommate
Prosecutors say Robert J. Savignano is facing one count of murder.
BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man has been indicted on a murder charge by a Plymouth County Grad Jury in connection with a fatal stabbing that took place earlier this year, said Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz in a news release Friday.
Prosecutors say Robert J. Savignano, 25, fatally stabbed his roommate James E. Jennette, 35, of Brockton, on January 2. According the the indictment, an investigation by Massachusetts State Police found that an altercation took place between Jennette and Savignano and Jennette was stabbed.
Savignano will be arraigned in Brockton Superior Court on a later date.
