Brockton Modell's Set to Close

BROCKTON, MA — It's almost game over for one sporting goods store at the Westgate Mall in Brockton.

Modell's store manager Sheena Frye told the Enterprise that the store will close next week and will stay open through Feb. 8 if the Patriots win the Super Bowl. The store was originally scheduled to close Jan. 7 but the Patriots playoff run has kept it open longer.

Store employees were told in November that store was closing because the company lost their lease.
