Brockton Opens Coronavirus Testing Center At Shaw's Center
The building has undergone over $600,000 in improvements funded by the federal CARES act to become an indoor testing center.

BROCKTON, MA — A new COVID-19 testing site is set to open Wednesday at the Shaw's Center in Brockton, said Mayor Robert F. Sullivan in a news release.
The Shaw's Center has undergone $635,000 in improvements funded by Brockton's federal CARES Act funding, said the news release. It will now serve as an indoor COVID-19 testing facility operated by Brockton Neighborhood Health Center (BNHC).
“Testing is key as we fight the COVID-19 pandemic and this newly-opened indoor testing facility will help make it easier for our residents to be screened for the virus,” Sullivan said in a statement. “I’m proud of all the collaboration with our public and private partners who mobilized quickly to make improvements to the Shaw’s Center so we could get it open for testing.”
