Brockton Police Seek Public's Help In Pedestrian Hit & Run

BROCKTON, MA — Brockton police are seeking the public's help in a pedestrian hit and run case, said the department in a Facebook post.

The incident took place around 1:15 a.m. on Monday, May 24 when a man was hit by a vehicle at Warren Avenue and Highland Street, said police. The victim remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

The vehicle involved came from Legion Parkway and the operator drove north on Newbury Street after striking the victim, according to investigators. Witnesses described the car as a black Toyota Camry and the driver as a heavyset white male. The vehicle may have front-end damage as a result of the crash.
