Brockton Storm Center: Blizzard Warning In Effect
Due to the expected conditions, a blizzard warning has been issued by the National Weather Service.

BROCKTON, MA — The first big storm of the season is heading this way and will bring high winds and plenty of show with it.
The National Weather Service is predicting 12 to 18 inches of snow for the Brockton area, with heavy snow and blizzard conditions expected. With the storm on the way, a blizzard warning has been issued from 1 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday.
The NWS says to expect travel to be very dangerous and damage to trees and power lines. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions. Residents are advised to not travel and if they must, bring a survival kit.
