BRIDGEWATER, MA — A Bridgewater State University student from Brockton started a petition last week to rename a campus dining hall in memory of a beloved food service worker who died.

Junior Tyler Czyras has already collected more than 700 signatures, according to the Brockton Enterprise, which first reported this story. The petition asks for a dining hall to be renamed in memory of Hampton Perkins, who students said had a loving attitude towards the students at the Bridgewater State.
