Brockton's John Duggan Appointed Vice President at Bristol County Savings Bank

TAUNTON, MA, July 27, 2017 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), headquartered in Taunton, Massachusetts, announces the appointment of John G. Duggan to Vice President/Government Finance Officer. In this capacity, Duggan is responsible for assisting with the management of a centralized department for deposit and cash management options for the municipalities in the Bank’s market area.

Prior to joining Bristol County Savings Bank, Duggan served as the Treasurer/Collector for the Town of West Bridgewater, Massachusetts for close to 25 years and also held the position of Tax Examiner with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue in Boston, Massachusetts.

Duggan currently is a member of the Steering Committee for Mayflower Municipal Health Group, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He is also a former Trustee of the Plymouth County Retirement Board, a Past President of the Plymouth County Treasurer/Collector’s Association and a former Executive Board Member with the Massachusetts Collector Treasurer’s Association.

Duggan earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science, History and Economics from Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He resides in Brockton, Massachusetts.
