Deliberation on Brockton Casino Set

BROCKTON, MA - The decision on whether to award a gaming license to a proposed casino in Brockton could come at the end of the month.

Starting April 26 at the Shaw's Center, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public deliberations, according to the Enterprise. The commission's website lists April 29 as the anticipated decision date.

The commission will be discussing a proposed $650 million development on Route 123 at the Brockton Fairgrounds. The proposal includes a casino, event space, stores, and a hotel with at least 250 rooms.
