Keep Cars Off Street During Freeze Over: Mayor Carpenter

As temperatures continue to drop, Mayor Carpenter stressed the importance of clearing roads before any snow or slush freezes over.

BROCKTON, MA — Despite snow totals of only a few inches, Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter announced that all cars must stay off city streets in anticipation of Sunday night's freeze over.

As temperatures continue to drop, Carpenter stressed the importance of clearing roads before any snow or slush freezes to the road.

"We must get all streets clear from curb to curb before the deep freeze later today," Carpenter said in a Facebook post. "Please do not park in the street."
