Man Accused Of Trafficking Cocaine In Brockton: Police

Police say Lue Andrade of Bridgwater is facing multiple drug possession and trafficking charges.

BROCKTON, MA — A man has been arrested following a traffic stop in Brockton that led to the recovery of 685 grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine, said Massachusetts State Police in a news release.

Lue Andrade, 25, of Bridgewater, was pulled over shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday by Trooper Paul Martin for having illegal window tint on his white Toyota Camry, said police.

During a short investigation, Martin found individually packaged marijuana with a weight over the legal limit and took Andrade into custody.

For safety reasons, Andrade's car was towed to the Middleboro Barracks, where a vehicle search led to the recovery of 393 grams of a substance suspected to be powder cocaine and 292 grams of a substance suspected to be crack cocaine.

Andrade was booked at the Middleboro Barracks and was able to post $2,500 bail. He will be arraigned in Brockton District Court and Wareham District Court.
