Man Who Died Jumping Off A Scituate Bridge Has Been Identified
Police have identified the man as 29-year-old Jhon Michel from Brockton.
BROCKTON, MA — A man who died jumping from Edward Foster Bridge in Scituate into the water on Tuesday has been identified.
Jhon Michel, 29 of Brockton was pronounced dead late Tuesday at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth despite efforts by his co-workers, emergency personnel, and paramedics to try save his life.
Police say they received multiple 911 calls reporting that a man had jumped from the Edward Foster Bridge and did not surface around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Michel was brought to taken to the hospital after rescuers pulled him from the water around 3:50 p.m.
Michel was employed by a local landscaping company, according to police.
