Mouse Droppings Shut Down Hanson Dunkin': Health Officials
Health officials said a Dunkin' employee noticed the mouse droppings, but was forced to keep working, NBC 10 Boston reported.

HANSON, MA — The Board of Health shut down the Dunkin' at 318 Main St., after health officials said they found mouse droppings in the kitchen. Health officials told NBC 10 Boston an employee noticed the droppings last week, but was told to keep working. The employee then called the Board of Health. The Board of Health sent an independent inspector to the Dunkin', located inside a Speedway gas station, and reported she saw mouse droppings.
Hanson health officials then did their own inspection Wednesday and immediately shut it down, officials told NBC 10 Boston. Health officials said they do not believe any Dunkin' customers in recent weeks are at risk of getting sick. Dunkin' sent an operations manager to the store and said it's addressing the issue.
"We have stringent food safety and quality standards that we require all franchisees to comply with, and we take great pride in the food and beverages served to our guests every day,” Dunkin’ told NBC 10 Boston.
