Officials Investigating 'Potentially Suspicious' Brockton Fires
Three fires broke out early Wednesday morning at the Old State House Building, D.W. Field Park, and behind West Middle School.
BROCKTON, MA — Fire officials are investigating three fires that broke out in Brockton early Wednesday morning, said Deputy Fire Chief Brian Nardelli.
Firefighters responded to a blaze at the Old State House Building at Brockton Fair Grounds at approximately 1 a.m. Around the same time, fires also broke out at D.W. Field Park and behind West Middle School.
The fires were extinguished and no injuries have been reported, but officials say the Old State House Building is at risk of collapsing and has been surrounded by a fence as a precautionary measure.

The fires remain under investigation and are currently being considered suspicious.
