Puddingstone Place Hosts Holiday Appreciation Dinner for Families
The delicious meal, complete with all the "trimmings," was donated by The Narrows Crossing restaurant in Wareham
On Wednesday, November 14, as a way to express gratitude and appreciation for all their hard work, staff at the Puddingstone Place center in Middleboro hosted the parents and families of the children who receive services at this site for a special Thanksgiving Appreciation Dinner.
The delicious meal, complete with all the "trimmings," was donated by The Narrows Crossing restaurant in Wareham. Heritage Flowers, a local flower shop in nearby Lakeville, donated centerpieces for the event.
Puddingstone Place, which operates centers in Middleboro, Wellesley, and Danvers, provides world-renowned programming developed at Boston Children's Hospital to enhance communication, support behavioral changes, and improve overall quality of life for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Specialized teams at each center collaborate with caregivers and educators to develop personalized treatment plans for each learner and provide training to support carryover of skills to home, school and community settings.

In addition to working directly with individuals, Puddingstone Place is committed to the broader goals of contributing to research on best practices as a way to further its unique, visually-based instructional model, and help integrate new technologies into treatments.
