Winter Storm Watch to Hit Brockton Friday

The snow is expected to start late Thursday night and continue into Friday morning.

BROCKTON, MA - A few inches of snow could come to Brockton Thursday night and Friday morning.

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service calls for one to two inches of snow after midnight. Friday morning, more snow is expected before noon, with one to three inches expected.

WCVB has Brockton receiving two to six inches, with WHDH and WBZ calling for two to four and two to five.

In addition, Brockton and the rest of Plymouth County will be under a Winter Storm Watch from 2 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 5. A Winter Storm Watch is issued when six or more inches of snow are expected during a 12-hour period, or eight or more in a 24-hour period.
