6th Annual Brookline Youth Awards Accepting Nominations

Here's how to nominate a friend or family member for the honor.

BROOKLINE, MA - There’s still time to nominate an inspiring teen for the 6th Annual Brookline Youth Awards.

Nominations are open to teens between the ages of 13 and 19 who either live in or attend school in Brookline.

Past winners have been recognized for their β€œcourage overcoming adversity or helping others do the same, displaying exceptional kindness, character and generosity of spirit.”

β€œTypical nominees are teens who volunteer their time in service to their community, display leadership in support of a cause, and/or show exceptional success, ingenuity and creativity in their chosen pursuits. If you believe a teen you know deserves recognition, please submit a nomination for this individual,” event sponsor Brookline Hub wrote in an announcement.

The 6th Annual Brookline Youth Awards will be held April 27, 2016 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Coolidge Corner Theater.
