Ladies Philoptochos Society ‘Evangelismos’ To Host Author Robert Krantz

The Ladies Philoptochos Society of the “Evangelismos” is pleased to announce that it will be hosting best-selling author Robert Krantz at a special book signing Saturday, March 5. Krantz will be discussing his new book, “Falling In Love With Sophia,” at the Cathedral Community Center, 162 Goddard Ave., in Brookline at 7:30 p.m.

This will be the author’s first visit to New England promoting his new book and also discussing his recent release, “Guide To The Divine Liturgy.”

The Philoptochos Society invites the public to come listen to Krantz as he discusses his journey of faith that led him to write “Falling In Love With Sophia,” a book that has become an Amazon and Barnes & Noble international best seller.  Autographed book will be available for purchase at $20.

A writer, producer and actor, Krantz is a Greek-American who is perhaps best known for his film “Do You Wanna Dance”. His Greek name is Haralambos Karountzos. He has acted in numerous movies and television shows, along with having written and sold screenplays to major motion pictures studios including Sony, Fox, and Co­lumbia Pictures.

“We are excited to welcome such a multi-talented and accomplished member of our Greek community. Robert’s new book is heart-warming and touching, and the discussion will certainly be enlightening for readers of all ages,” said Fran Giannakopoulos, president of the Ladies Philoptochos Society of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England.

Tickets are $15 and will include light appetizers, soft drinks, coffee and desserts. Wine and beer will be available at the cash bar.
