Author Dan Brown To Come To Brookline
"The Da Vinci Code" author Dan Brown will be at Brookline High School to talk about his career and books for free Wednesday.

BROOKLINE, MA β Best selling author Dan Brown is in town Wednesday, and anyone can go see him for free. The Brookline library has invited Brown, famous for writing "The Da Vinci Code" to come speak about his career, his novels and his love of libraries.
On Wednesday, May 15, the author will visit Brookline High School for An Evening with Dan Brown, which is free and open to the public. Hank Phillippi Ryan, bestselling author and award-winning journalist, who often mc's events for the Brookline Booksmith, will be the master of ceremonies for this event, too, according to the library.
How did this come to be? It started with a question, according to the library. The grandson of the Trustee Programming Committee's chairwoman is a big fan and had asked his grandmother about the possibility of having Brown speak at the library. That sparked a conversation so the committee decided to reach out to Brown's publicist to see if Brown, who lives in New Hampshire, might be interested.

Brown is the author of several bestselling novels, including his fictional series involving a Harvard Professor named Robert Langdon. "The Da Vinci Code" murder mystery became one of the best selling novels of all time and was turned into a movie with Tom Hanks in the staring role. Brownβs novels are published in 56 languages around the world with over 200 million copies in print, according to his website.
Brownβs latest novel, "Origin," published in 2017 is his fifth in the Langdon series and explores two of the fundamental questions of humankind: Where do we come from? Where are we going?

Brown will speak in Brookline High Schoolβs Auditorium, at 115 Greenough Street, at 7:30 p.m.. Doors will open at 7 p.m. seating is limited and on a first-come basis.
Signed copies of Brownβs latest book will be available for purchase courtesy of the Brookline Booksmith.
