
The following reports detail all Brookline Police Department arrests from June 29 through July 5.
Tuesday, June 29
- Andre Damien Charles, 33, of 98 Woodledge St, Roxbury, was arrested at Beacon and Charles streets around 6:45 p.m. on June 29 and charged with operating after suspension, failing to submit motor vehicle for inspection and failed to display plated, and cited for possession of marijuana. Officer Russell O'Neill made the arrest.
- Ram M. Katave, 23, of 175 Freeman St., #3-34, was arrested at Knyvet Park around 8:45 p.m. and charged with open and gross conduct. Katave allegedly exposed himself to a passing bicyclist. Read the full story. Officer Brian Sutherland made the arrest.
- Jose Marquez, 26, of 61 Empire St., #3, Allston, was arrested at Pleasant and John streets around 1:15 p.m. and charged with operating without a license, making an illegal turn from wrong lane, defective equipment, providing a false name to a police officer, and for giving a false name after arrest and booking. After being stopped for a traffic violation, Marquez reportedly told officers his last name was Lius. Officers later determined that the man had been previously arrested by Brookline Police and given his real name, Marquez. Capt. Myles Murphy made the arrest.
- Aaron Paul Moynahan, 53, of 1 Brookline Place, Apt. 603, Cambridge, was arrested at Beacon and St. Paul streets around 6:15 p.m. and charged with operating after suspension and failure to stop for a stop sign. Officer Brian Keaveney made the arrest.
- Kaleab Bahru Tilahun, 23, of 48 Atherton Road, Apt. 1, was arrested at his home around 11:34 p.m. and charged with kidnapping, assault and battery, intimidating a witness and six counts of domestic assault and battery. Officer Allen Gustie made the arrest.
- Mohamed Hussien Noor, 24, of 327 St. Paul St., #2, was arrested on Egmont Street just before 5 a.m. and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and resisting arrest. Police reportedly saw Noor punch a woman in the face and throw her to the ground in the basketball courts behind 33 Egmont St. Read the full story. Officer Russell O'Neill made the arrest.
- Thad Dylan Parrish, 19, of 38 Silverlake Ave., Newton, was arrested at Commonwealth Avenue and St. Paul Street around 4:27 p.m. and charged with five counts of defacing property. Parrish was reportedly observed writing on the side door of 910 Commonwealth Ave. with a marker. After talking with him, officers reportedly located Parrish's tag, "AYOE," in copper-colored marker in four other locations along Commonwealth Avenue. Officer Allen Gustie made the arrest.
