Brookline Arrests: Woman Tries to Pass ‘Massachusettsan Travel Warrant’ as Driver’s License

Arrest reports for Jan. 10 - 17.

A Brookline woman was arrested last week after she allegedly tried to pass two novelty cards, including a “Massachusettsan Tavel Warrant,” to a police officer who had pulled her over.

Creedon was reportedly pulled over after an officer noticed that her car had no license plates. When the officer asked Creedon whether she had a valid driver’s license, she repeatedly demand that he call a 1-800 phone number on the back of the “warrant,” according to a police report.

One of the cards reported had the name “Laura Marie Creedon” and an Egmont Street address on it, but Creedon would not initially say whether that was her name or address. Police were eventually able to determine that the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured by running its vehicle identification number.
