Brookline Goes Back to School

Class now in session for most Brookline students.

More than 5,000 Brookline children headed to the classroom this morning as the the Public Schools of Brookline opened their doors for the new school year.

It will be short first week for Brookline's students, with school closing for the Labor Day and Rosh Hoshanah holidays. Students entering pre-kindergarten through grade 9 started class today and will be back in school on Wednesday and Friday. High school students in grades 10 though 12 will start tomorrow and finish their school week on Friday.

Brookline school officials have kicked off the new school year with a fully redesigned website.
