When's the first day of school in Brookline? That, and other must-know dates for parents, students and teachers including Arena Day.
BROOKLINE, MA β The first day of school in Brookline is September 7 for grades K-9 and September 8 for grades 10-12, according to the Brookline School District 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.
Brookline High School Arena Day is on Thurs Aug. 31, from 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Seniors only from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., then all students Gr 9-12 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Brookline High School Library. Arena Day is a chance for students (not parents) to meet guidance counselors to try to iron out any mistakes in their schedule.
The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.
