Brookline Vaccine Clinic Opens To Everyone 18 And Older

BROOKLINE, MA β€” Anyone 18 and over can register for the scheduled vaccine clinic hosted by the Health Department this weekend.

The clinic had initially been open to residents 65 and over, but is now expanded to all residents 18 and over.

Some 57 percent of Brookline residents had taken at least one dose of a vaccine as of June 1, according to state data. That included 79 percent of residents 75 and older, and 63 percent of residents between the ages of 65 and 75.

On Saturday, June 12, the Brookline Department of Public Health will host a clinic for residents 18 and over at its facility at 11 Pierce St. in Brookline.

The free clinic will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those who attend may choose between the Moderna two-shot vaccine or the Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccine.

Those who elect to receive the Moderna vaccine will return for their second dose four weeks after the June 12 clinic.
