Community Foundation Seeks 'Unsung Heroes' of Brookline
Nomination deadline is Sept. 18.

The Brookline Community Foundation is seeking nominations for its annual awards honoring those Brookline residents who "tirelessly work to make (y)our town a better place for all of its residents."
The foundation is accepting nominations for the 2010 Unsung Heroes award up until Sept. 24. An award ceremony will be held on Nov. 4 at Brookline High School.
The foundation is seeking candidates who inspire others, work hard to make a difference in Brookline, think outside the box in their approach to solving social problems and have not been recognized by an outside charity of organizations.

Nominees will be reviewed by a selection committee and two recipients will chosen, one adult and one young person. Brookline Community Foundation will make a grant to a charity of each recipient's choosing.
