Creem Making Campaign Stop in Brookline This Morning

State Senator Scheduled to Join Former Gov. Michael Dukakis at Coolidge Corner T Station.

Sen. Cynthia Creem made an early-morning campaign stop in Coolidge Corner today, appearing with Former Gov. Michael Dukakis in an effort to wrap up the Brookline vote in advance of the September primary.

"It's going to be the standard stuff – handing out cards, shaking hands and kissing babies," said Mike Sherry, Creem's campaign manager. "Gov. Dukakis is always a great draw, and especially in Brookline he's very well respected, so I think it'll be a great event."

Creem and Dukakis were schedule to be at the Coolidge Corner T Station from 7 to 9 a.m. Sherry said the location and timing of the appearance wasn't meant to highlight any particular policy or issue for the senator.

"Nothing in particular, other than it's a well-trafficked time and place," he said.
