Join Brookline residents Tom and Mary McManus for a fundraising concert at Boston University this Saturday. BU’s Dear Abbeys will present “Music for Miracles,” an afternoon of a cappella performances to benefits Children’s Hospital Boston. In addition the Abbeys, the show will features Boston-based touring group Ball in the House and other acts. The show starts at 3 p.m.
Brookline's own Tom McManus is running his second Boston Marathon for Children’s Hospital this year after running along his wife and polio survivor Mary McManus last spring. The story of Christos Couturier, his new patient partner, has moved him to train through a grueling New England winter and run 26.2 miles. All proceeds from this concert will benefit Childrens Hospital Boston, where miracles like Christos’s happen every day.
