Flood Advisory Issued For Brookline Tonight
Heavy rain predicted between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Brookline tonight, warning that the region could be hit by a band of heavy showers and thunderstorms between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
The services predicted the storms could dump as much as an inch of rain in half an hour in some places. The downpour will likely create large puddles on some roads during the evening commute and could cause localized flooding in areas with poor drainage.
The advisory was issed just before 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 5.
