Friendly Toast Coming to Coolidge Corner

Ready your waistline, Brookline.

BROOKLINE, MA β€” The Friendly Toast plans to open its fourth restaurant in Brookline, according to two reports out this week.

That means all-day breakfast in funky-decorated digs coming to Coolidge Corner. Prepare yourself for PB & fluff crepes, meatloaf eggs benedict, breakfast tacos and, yes, even some delicious non-breakfast items, too.

Eater reported this week the restaurant has applied for the necessary food/alcohol licenses to open at 1366 Beacon St., formerly home to Japanese and Korean BBQ spot Yasu. That story followed up on the initial scoop by Boston Restaurant Talk.
