Friendly Toast Coming to Coolidge Corner

BROOKLINE, MA — The Friendly Toast plans to open its fourth restaurant in Brookline, according to two reports out this week.

That means all-day breakfast in funky-decorated digs coming to Coolidge Corner. Prepare yourself for PB & fluff crepes, meatloaf eggs benedict, breakfast tacos and, yes, even some delicious non-breakfast items, too.

Eater reported this week the restaurant has applied for the necessary food/alcohol licenses to open at 1366 Beacon St., formerly home to Japanese and Korean BBQ spot Yasu. That story followed up on the initial scoop by Boston Restaurant Talk.

The Friendly Toast has additional locations in Cambridge's Kendall Square, the Back Bay and in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
