Why Go: Temple Emeth’s Annual Purim Carnival will feature game booths, face painting, moon walk, raffles and refreshments.

Where/When: United Parish in Brookline, March 20, 12:30 p.m.
Why Go: Susan DeSelms will present a lecture titled β€œThe Son of Man: Modern Sacred Masterpiece” this Sunday as the United Parish of Brookline prepares for the world premier of β€œThe Son of Man,” a choral work composed by Emmy nomiee Kareem Roustom. The piece will be performed by the church’s Chancel Choir in May.
