JP Licks In Coolidge Corner Introduces 2 New Presidential Flavors
The local ice cream chain with a store in Coolidge Corner said its new presidential flavors are meant to celebrate Biden and Harris.

BROOKLINE, MA β J.P. Licks is marking a Presidents Day this year by getting political with two new ice cream flavor offerings Presidents Day, Feb. 15.
The Boston-based ice cream shop with a store in Coolidge Corner said its two new presidential flavors are meant to celebrate President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
The first is named, wait for it: A Regular Cup of Joe, coffee ice cream that tastes just like a cup of coffee with cream and sugar, according to the business.

The flavor named for the vice president has been dubbed: Kamala's Karamel Ice Cream, and it contains sea salted caramel ice cream with chocolate-covered caramel pieces throughout.
You'll have to wait for Presidents Day to give them a try, though.

If you're wondering if any other presidents got the honor, we've got the answer.
"There was Jimmy Carter, J.P. Licks had Jimmy Carter Crunch which was a crunchy peanut butter ice cream flavor," Darren DeLuca, a spokesperson for the company, said in an email.
"We also ran merchandise, a bumper sticker which read "J.P. Licks Bush," DeLuca said.
These two new flavors will run at least through the end of the month, and likely into March, he said.
