Lee Street: Single Lane Open From Rt. 9 To Dudley In Brookline

BROOKLINE, MA -- Lee Street is open in one direction from Route 9 to Dudley Street, after a massive water main break left a hole across half of the road near the Brookline Reservoir Thursday.

Crews are expected to come Friday to shore up the hole.

Avoid the area if you are coming the other direction.

Friday morning the hole, which stretches across nearly three lanes of the road and is deep enough to swallow a back hoe, was fenced off.
