Money Magazine Lists Brookline Among Best Places For The "Rich and Single"
Newton, MA and Newport Beach, CA also make top three.

Got a fat paycheck but no significant other in your life? Then move to Brookline, says Money Magazine.
In its August issue, the magazine ranks Brookline third on its list of "Best places for the rich and single," noting its proximity to Fenway Park, its well-educated population and its median family incomes approaching $125,000. The magazine also estimates that a remarkable high percentage of residents β 42 percent β describe themself as single.
In fact, the only other place better for wealthy singles, according to Money Magazine, is Brookline's neighbor to the west, Newton, and the coastal city of Newport Beach, CA.

The "rich and single" rankings were part of the magazine's annual "100 Best Places to Live" list. Brookline ranked 39th overall, coming after Newton (third) and, remarkably, Waltham (28th). Weymouth also made the list at 52nd.
