Outdoor Concert Cancelled Due to Rain

The second concert in Brookline's summer performance series has been cancelled as the town remains under a flash flood watch for the second day in a row.

Beetletracks, a Beetles tribute band that has become a mainstay of Brookline's outdoor concerts, was scheduled to take the stage at Emerson Garden tonight, July 14, but will play a show on Aug. 18 instead. Back Eddy Bluegrass is scheduled to play at next Wednesday's concert.

A flash flood watch for most of Eastern Massachussets is expected to remain in effect until 6 tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
