Devotion School class drill into nearby maple trees to draw out their sweet sap.
"My class tapped two maple trees, and is gathering sap from them each day," writes Lauren Ockene, a fourth grade teacher at the Devotion School. "Below are some of the students after drilling the hole, inserting the spile, and hanging the bucket, awaiting sap!"
