Police Motorcycle Struck by Car in Front of Town Hall; Officer Hospitalized

A Brookline police officer was rushed to the hospital earlier this afternoon after his motorcycle was struck by a car at the intersection of Holden and Washington streets, directly adjacent to the Town Hall parking lot and less than a block from Brookline Police Headquarters.

A report is not yet available for the accident, which occurred around 12:20 p.m, but Officer Ronnie McNeil said the officer involved was "OK" but "injured." McNeil said the department's transportation division is likely conducting an investigation.
