Reports of Snake-Toting Rider Delays D Line Train
Man left Brookline Village Station before police arrived.

A D Line train was briefly detained this afternoon after riders reported a man carrying a snake.
T spokesman Joe Pesaturo said the man had left the scene before police arrived at Brookline Station, where the snake had been reported, and service resumed to normal shortly after.
The T posted a service alert at 12:30 p.m. saying outbound trains on the D Branch of the Green Line were delayed by 10 minutes because of police action at Brookline Village.
