Tell Us Who Made 2010 Great and Win Prizes for You and Them

Patch highlight Brookline residents who made a difference this year.

The year 2010 was a tough one for many, many reason. But there were bright spots, too, thanks to individual people who refused to be weighed down by the bad news and worked to make the world better in their own way. Maybe it was someone did something as big as launching a much-needed non-profit or as small as smiling at the people they see everyday, but it's people, not world events, that define how experience the world each year.

Who made 2010 great for you? For the rest of the year, Brookline Patch is highlighting the work of people who made some contribution, big or small, to make Brookline better. Tell us who made a difference in your life and we'll reward you both with a few Patch goodies we have sitting around Brookline Patch HQ.

To enter, email editor Neal Simpson at neal@patch.com and tell us who made 2010 great for you and how they did it. Entries will be accepted up until Dec. 31, 2010.
