Traffic Advisory: Ryan Circle In South Brookline
The rotary in South Brookline is going to be under construction some more.

BROOKLINE, MA β The Ryan Circle rotary where Grove Street and West Roxbury Parkway intersect in South Brookline may be a little more slow going this week than normal as crews work on crosswalk improvements in the area.
If you live nearby or have ever tried to run or walk in that area, you may know crossing the street in that area is tricky, to say the least. But beginning Monday, the Department of Conservation and Recreation, whose authority the area is under, is closing down some of the lanes and sidewalks and making a few changes.
The work will be 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 8. and a police detail will be on site as crews work.

You might remember that for almost a month from mid September to mid October there were crews at work, then too.
In an effort to improve pedestrian safety, DCR began crosswalk and sidewalk improvements to Grove Street and West Roxbury Parkway within Ryan Circle in the Town of Brookline on Sept. 19. The scope of work includes new wider sidewalks, improved ADA compliance, and new crosswalk markings. The project is expected to be completed by the end of November, according to DCR.
