Weather Alert: Brookline Public Schools Delayed Monday

Due to overnight snowfall, public schools in the district will open two hours late.

BROOKLINE, MA - All public schools in Brookline will be delayed two hours Monday due to overnight snowfall.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch over the weekend for northeastern Massachusetts; snow was expected to fall from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and continue overnight into Monday morning.

Some areas were likely to see four to seven inches, forecasters said.

Delays are for the following schools:

  • John D. Runkle School
  • Pierce School
  • William H. Lincoln School
  • Amos A. Lawrence School
  • Heath School
  • Michael Driscoll School
  • Upper Devotion School
  • Edward Devotion School
  • Edith C. Baker School
  • Brookline High School
