The following incident report is based on dispatch logs for Friday, Feb. 11, through Sunday, Feb. 13. Look for weekday incident reports each Saturday and arrest logs each Tuesday on Brookline Patch.

Best of Blotter
  • A β€œvery upset” 12-year-old called police around 7 p.m. on Feb. 12 after his father made him sit outside their Brook Street home in the cold in his pajamas. The father told police has trying to discipline the boy and said he’d been outside for less than 10 minutes.
Vandalism
  • A passerby noticed a cracked window outside Float in Coolidge Corner on Feb. 13 and told police it looked like someone had thrown a rock at it.
  • Someone reportedly keyed a black Honda on Beals Street on Feb. 12.
  • The roof of a car on Babcock Street was damaged sometime on Feb. 11.
Burglary
  • Someone reportedly broke into a BMW parked in an alley off Tappan Street sometime on Feb. 12 or 13.
  • The window of a hummer parked in St. Mary’s Court was broken sometime on Feb. 11 or 12.
  • Someone broke into a car near Regent Crescent and Beaconsfield Road and stole a GPS unit on Feb. 10 or 11.
Theft
  • A delivery bicycle was stolen from in front of Uppercrust Pizza in Coolidge Corner on Feb. 11 or 12.
  • A woman came into the station on Feb. 12 to report that several items were stolen from her dead sister’s apartment at 100 Centre St.
Animal
  • Coyotes were spotted on Jordan Road in two different back yards on Feb. 11 and 12. The animals were also seen on Summit Avenue on Feb. 11 and in front of the Devotion House in Coolidge Corner on Feb. 12.
Misc.
  • An employee at The Country Club was struck by a car leaving the property shortly after a theft was reported there on Feb. 13.
  • A man in a gray hat and scruffy beard was seen going through the trash near an ATM in Coolidge Corner and collecting receipts on Feb. 12.
