- A Mason Terrace resident called police on Nov. 19 to report that a street light out front looked like it was going to "fall and kill someone." An officer was sent to the scene and reported that the cover lens of the light was open but was not in danger of falling.
- A 26-year-old Boston man was charged with two counts of shoplifting after an incident at the CVS/Pharmacy at 730 Commonwealth Avenue on Nov. 21.
- Employees at the Coolidge Corner Walgreens reported a male shoplifter around 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 21.
- A Bay State Taxi driver turned in a Blackberry phone left in his cab on Nov. 21. He said the phone may have belonged to someone who lives on Carlton Street.
- A potted plant was thrown through the window of a home on Gardner Street sometime on the night of Nov. 20. The homeowner told police he suspected local teens he had exchanged words with two weeks earlier.
- A house on Mason Terrace was egged sometime before noon on Nov. 20.
- A St. Mary's Street resident reported that someone was in the vestibule of their apartment building ringing all of the doorbells at 4 a.m. on Nov. 20. The person was gone when police arrived.
- An Elba Street resident told police she heard someone put a key in her door and fiddle with the lock for about five minutes around 12:45 a.m. on Nov. 20. When the resident asked who was at the door, the unknown person said "Shelby" and left. The resident told police she doesn't know a Shelby.
- On Nov. 19, police received a report on about a man inside a car pointing a camera with a scarf draped over it at a Harvard Street women's clinic that is often protested by Pro-Life demonstrators. When approached by officers, the man said he was trying to record the license plate of a motorcyclist who had repeated knocked down signs on the sidewalk.
- A 49-year-old man will be charged with assault and batter after he allegedly punched another man in the face after an argument near Longwood and Chapel streets.
