Whole Foods, Trader Joe's: Brookline Christmas 2020 Store Hours

BROOKLINE, MA — Christmas is likely to look different this year as millions of Americans opt to stay home, marking the holiday with smaller celebrations amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But when it comes to Christmas dinner, a pandemic is certainly unlikely to stop us from forgetting that one key ingredient to make a perfect holiday meal.

Fret not: A number of grocery stores are planning to be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for those emergency and last-minute shopping trips in and around Brookline.

Here are the hours for area grocery stores:

BJ's Wholesale Club: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Dec. 25.

Costco: Most stores will be open limited hours Christmas Eve, and all stores will be closed Christmas Day. Call ahead to confirm hours with your local store.

CVS: Most are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Christmas Day. Find locations on the CVS website.

Market Basket: Open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

Shaw's: Most open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas.

Stop & Shop: All stores will close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. All stores are closed Christmas Day.

Target: Most will close at 8 p.m. Christmas Eve. All stores are closed Christmas Day.

Trader Joe's: All stores will close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Stores are closed Christmas Day.

Wegmans: Stores will open as normal and close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. All stores are closed Christmas Day.

Whole Foods: Most stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Christmas Eve. All stores are closed Christmas Day.
