Woman Robbed at Knifepoint in North Brookline
Second robbery in neighborhood in two days.

For the second night in a row, a woman was robbed while walking through the North Brookline neighborhood yesterday.
According to dispatch logs, police received a call around 7:30 p.m. from a woman who said she'd been robbed by a man with a knife near Fuller Street and Hamilton Road. Police descended on the area but were unable to locate the alleged robber.
The woman described her attacker as a white man around 20 years old, about 5-foot-8 and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt under a light-colored jacket. She told police she had been walking down Fuller Street when a man passed her holding a pocket knife and demanded her handbag, according to Sargeant Robert Disario.

The woman reportedly tried to run away, but the man grabbed her bag and cut a strap with the knife. The man then ducked into an alley on Fuller Street heading toward Naples Road.
The attack took place about five blocks from where another woman was robbed . The attacker in that incident was not reported to have been carrying a weapon.
