Burlington Big Dog Sculpture Named For Havoc, Retired Police Dog
The Burlington Sculpture Park's Dale Rogers sculpture was named through a community vote.

BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington's new Big Dog sculpture has been named Havoc, after the retired Burlington police dog, the Burlington Sculpture Park Committee announced Wednesday.
Havoc was named through a community vote. Burlington resident Sean McDonald submitted the name, one of over 200 submissions. Voters chose "Havoc" among 10 finalists selected by the committee.
Havoc retired in February, after a decade with the force.

McDonald won a 12 inch miniature Havoc sculpture from artist Dale Rogers, Burlington Sculpture Park t-shirts for his family and a family photo session at the park.
The Rogers sculpture is one of six at the town's new sculpture park, located across from the Town Common.
